FIOT (Free In, Out, and Trimmed) is a shipping term similar to FIOS but adds the requirement of trimming the cargo. Under FIOT terms, the shipper or consignee handles the costs and responsibilities for loading, unloading, and trimming, which ensures that operational duties and expenses are clearly defined.
