Bulk cargo refers to unpackaged goods transported in large quantities that are loaded directly into a vessel’s hold, railcar, truck, or specialized transport equipment without individual packaging or containerization. These commodities are typically poured, dropped, or pumped in loose form into the transport vessel, where they occupy the entire cargo space. Bulk cargo primarily consists of raw or unprocessed materials that are homogeneous in nature and can be efficiently handled in mass quantities using specialized loading and unloading equipment.
